Here is a picture of the Coreopsis I recently purchased. Notice that it is planted between two Iris that I planted earlier this year. The Iris is looking pretty small and they usually do the year that you transplant them. next year it will grow tremendously in size but not bloom. the following year they will bloom.
I forgot to mention that last night I also thinned the sunflowers a little bit and made sure the taller ones were being supported by the twine fence.
